Overview

Towards a sustainable future

A structured 8-term talent development programme for the green enterprise sectors, specially developed for students who are passionate about sustainability as a key driver for change and innovation in your chosen fields.

Students will spend one year (3 terms) in Tianjin and be exposed to real-world applications and research at the heart of Tianjin Eco-City, a leading low-carbon, smart and sustainable city. Riding on the new ����ɫ��-Tianjin Eco-City collaboration research centre, you will have the opportunity to participate in research for next generation of sustainability solutions. In addition, students may participate in overseas trips to experience first-hand on the sustainability efforts there.

You will graduate with a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) �ǰ���Bachelor of Science (BSc)*. degree, with a Minor in Sustainability by Design*.

STARTsomething@����ɫ��

Gain knowledge and skills to navigate the start-up ecosystem with this 3-term experiential entrepreneurship programme, which includes IDEATEsomething, BUILDsomething and LAUNCHsomething (STARTsomething@����ɫ��)

Internship and exchange in Tianjin

Spend 3 terms in Tianjin to experience its sustainability efforts through:

• Coursework in a university in Tianjin
• Internship in a green enterprise in Tianjin
• Participation in research projects at the ����ɫ��-TEC research centre

Minor in Sustainability by Design

Take courses leading to a Minor in Sustainability by Design along with your Major^ of choice

Work closely with faculty and industry on sustainability issues

• Capstone
  Embark on a final-year Capstone project focused on sustainability with industries
• Undergraduate Research Opportunities Programme (UROP)
  Students may work on a 1-term UROP on sustainability topics under the guidance of ����ɫ�� researchers
