This is an introductory graduate鈥恖evel course in computer networking. The course covers core concepts and major design and implementation techniques for large鈥恠cale computer networks at the application, transport, network:
- Introduction to Computer networks (Nuts and bolts description, Network edge, core, delay, loss, throughput, networking protocols)
- Application layer (Web, HTTP, FTP, Email, Internet, DNS, P2P, Socket programming)
- Transport layer (UDP, TCP)
- Network layer (IP, routing algorithms, Broadcast, multicast)
